By air

If you have the choice, fly into Ontario (ONT) — it's the shortest, calmest drive and keeps you off the busiest freeways. All four have the usual rental-car counters and rideshare pickup.
Glendora sits right on Interstate 210, the Foothill Freeway, which runs along the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. From most of Los Angeles County you'll reach it via the 210, the 605 or the 57 — all of which meet close by. Once you exit toward Glendora, downtown and the neighborhoods sit just north of the freeway, at the foot of the hills.

Glendora is a drive-everywhere town, and a car makes the most of the region — the Village, the trailheads, and the day trips out to Pasadena, the mountains and the coast. The Metro A Line reaches the neighboring city of Azusa if you'd rather take the train into central Los Angeles for a day.
